Legislative and Legal Framework of Digital Currencies: In this presentation, Marco will give a primer on how digital currency companies are regulated in the United States and other countries around the world. He will discuss the regulators' policy goals in crafting and enforcing regulations, as well as how those goals apply to specific digital currency business models. The presentation will end with some suggestions for building a compliant business.
This session will explore how bitcoin derivatives can be deployed to manage bitcoin price risk and a preview into the typical structure of a bitcoin futures exchange, including counterparty risks, margin requirements, and warehousing for a digital commodity.
